Well so the oil we have to use is crap and now this confirmed the fact that the fuel is crap so this new eco policy is going to kill our trucks. I guess im goin to have to come up with a new brew to take care of this. i didnt pay $45000 for a truck to have it fall apart because of the oil and fuel i am supposed to use in it :argh:

The sky is falling, the sky is falling! That was just a well crafted sales pitch.

I've been up north since last Friday. The highest temp my truck has seen has been about 35* it was hovering around 13 degrees for a couple days and got down to 8* the other night. The only things in my tank are pump #2 and 2 stroke oil at 200:1 ratio. My truck has been starting and running like a champ. No cold front, haven't even plugged her in. Don't believe all the hype.

There may be some hype to it, but you are using 2 stroke in your fuel.  The old LSD is not as good as the new stuff no matter how you cut it (excluding environmental factor of course :drink:).  It could just be this time of year, but I have read about quite a few people having trouble with their fuel even after they added anti-gel to it.

We saw a week here where the high for 7 days was still well below zero.  Never had a single problem with the truck.  Average temp was -17

I was just in North Dakota from tuesday to tonight. The highest temp it had reached was +7, which was this morning when I left to come back to Minnesota. The lowest it had gotten was -14. I am not sure what the wind chill was. I added HEET to each fill up, and I never had a problem at all.
