I've lost 2 license plates that way, 3rd time I only stripped one screw. So now I keep my front tag on my psgr visor.

yeah it's a pita but all our roads bout 20 miles north of the N of the border we have cameras that check on every tag that's going N and S.
Oh well first tag I lost was 8 months past due. I can still fit the tag behind my bull bar but don't want to risk gettng pulled over for obstructing it's view, my inspection and registration is 6 month old now, I usually skip a year.
